This Fund was established in memory of the distinguished scientific work of Professor Torkel Weis-Fogh in the fields of zoology and zoophysiology in Denmark and in England.
This year the Fund managers intend to dedicate the available Fund income to a graduate studentship in the department. Such a studentship would have to demonstrate a degree of exchange between Cambridge and Copenhagen or Aarhus and could, for example, take the form of a student registered in Cambridge spending significant time in Denmark or in collaboration with Danish researchers.
Applications for small research awards are not invited this year.
Interested candidates should apply to the department through the normal graduate admissions process of the university.
