Information for Volunteers

General

• On average we take 8 volunteers per year who spend twelve months in South Africa monitoring our study population.
• Accommodation for volunteers is provided.
• Volunteers are paid a monthly allowance to cover their food and (at the end of their stay) a contribution to their travel costs.
• Since it takes several weeks to acquire the necessary field skills, we only take volunteers who are prepared to stay for at least 12 months.
