I am a behavioural ecologist, and I apply a comparative approach to understand the diversity of mammalian sociality.

Research Interests
My research focuses on understanding why animal species differ so widely in their social behaviour. My work involves classifying the extent of cooperation and competition between individuals in a wide range of species and to identify which aspects of an environment are shared between species with similar behaviour.
