Being a postgraduate student doesn’t mean that that you’ll spend all your time stuck in the laboratory or staring at the computer screen.
Although there are academic milestones you need to complete, there are also plenty of opportunities to do other things. You can acquire transferable skills by attending various courses, increase your teaching experience both in the Department or in outreach programs or you can join one of the departmental sports teams or the choir.
