About the LabWe are based in the Department of Zoology, University of Cambridge. Research in the Department is richly varied and we actively engage with a number of other neuroscience, developmental biology and Drosophila research groups. Our interest lies in investigating fundamental issues of developmental neuroscience. At the same time we are also developing new genetic and imaging methods that enable us to study these questions effectively. We share space and well-equipped facilities with the neighbouring laboratories of Helen Skaer and Irene Miguel-Aliaga, with whom we interact daily and have regular joint lab meetings. Together we have created a supportive and productive environment for researchers at all career stages. Our labs have a regular intake of final year, summer project and PhD rotation students from all over the world. We have also been hosting a number of eminent visiting scientists. Address: |
