Parasitism is known to be a contributing factor in pollinator declines. Yet, we know very little about what drives the distribution and spread of these parasites in wild populations. Using bumblebees as a model system and a mix of global datasets and molecular methods, my research investigates what drives parasitism in pollinators at the landscape scale.
