Department of Zoology

I joined the Evolutionary Ecology Group in 2026 as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow.

Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the EvoAdapta Group at the University of Cantabria and completed my PhD at the National Research Centre on Human Evolution (Universidad de Burgos).

I am an archaeologist specialising in human–environment interactions during the Palaeolithic, employing paleoecological modelling to integrate data from archaeological sites and natural archives. In the coming years, my research will investigate the impact of biodiversity loss on human carrying capacity during the Late Pleistocene–Early Holocene transition in Iberia.
