About
My research focuses on the ecology of cooperative breeding in mammals, primarily through studies on meerkats and Damaraland mole-rats. In meerkats, I am currently exploring how climate impacts demographic processes. In Damaraland mole-rats, I am combining long-term field data with targeted experiments to investigate the causes and consequences of group living in this charismatic, subterranean rodent. My work also explores broader questions related to social behavior and evolution.
