An overseas student is generally defined as someone who has not ordinarily been resident in the UK for a three year period preceding the commencement of his or her course and is not a national of a member state of the European Union, or the son, daughter or ward of such a national. This is, however, not an exhaustive definition and further enquiries about eligibility should be addressed to the University's Graduate Admissions office.
