Claire Feniuk, a PhD student in the Conservation Science Group won first prize at the Student Conference on Conservation Science yesterday, for her poster "Finding the balance: Food production and biodiversity conservation in Europe". This was quite an achievement, given that there were 100 posters and the standard was unusually high. The chair of the team of poster judges, EJ Milner-Gulland (Imperial College), had many deservedly glowing things to say about the design and content of Claire's poster.
