Winners of the Graduate Poster Competition!

A big thank you to everyone who took part and those who came along to yesterday's graduate poster competition. 

The judges, Prof Michael Akam, Dr Matthias Landgraf, and Dr Andrea Manica, picked the following winners:

 

First prize

Hanns Hagan Goetzke, supervised by Dr Walter Federle, for his poster "Jumping from smooth surfaces: spiders need adhesion for take-off”.

 

Second prizes

Kate Marshall, supervised by Prof Nick Davies, for her poster “A Bird's Eye View of Camouflage: Lizards Face a Trade-Off Between Concealment and Sexual Communication.”

Jessica Walsh, supervised by Prof Bill Sutherland with “Access to scientific evidence improves conservation management decisions.”
