Best Undergraduate Supervisor Award

last modified May 17, 2017 01:46 PM

We were delighted to hear that one of our PhD students, Riva Riley has won the CUSU Student-Led Teaching Award for the best "Undergrad supervisor (science and technology)" award for 2017.

CUSU received nearly 600 nominations from students for teaching awards across all departments in the University. Nominations were then considered by a student judging panel and the winners were honoured at a ceremony in the University Combination Room on May 9th, with shortlisted staff and the students who nominated them present.

Two other Zoologists were also nominated in this field: Dr Neeljte Boogert, who was commended, and Jamie Gundry, who was shortlisted.

Many congratulations to all three.
