I am a Master's student working with Black Soldier Flies in the Insect Evolution and Genomics Group. My research focuses on the role of artificial selection in improving the productivity of this industrially relevant species. I am also investigating novel techniques for cryogenics and arresting development. I studied Biological Natural Sciences during my undergraduate degree at the University of Cambridge, specialising in evolution, ecology and conservation where I graduated with a strong first-class result, ranking third in my year.
