Our group works on understanding how animals (including humans) are adapted to their environment. Using population genetics, we reconstruct how species have responded to changes in their environment through time. Using behavioural data, we study the decisions animals make during their lifetime on how to use their habitat.
Current research topics include:
- Individual difference and collective behaviour
- Reconstructing the demographic history of metapopulations
- Shark ecology
- Dispersal in heterogeneous habitats
- Population genetics and ancient DNA
