Find us

The Department of Zoology's main building is on the University's New Museums Site, in the heart of Cambridge city centre. To find us on the New Museums Site, it's easiest if you enter the site through the Pembroke Arch on Downing Street (see map above).  You will find the entrance to our main building on your right.

By train: Cambridge Station is a 20 minute walk from the Dept of Zoology. Trains run frequently to London Kings Cross (55 minute journey time).  Buses run regularly from the station to the city centre. More information about trains to Cambridge.

By bus: The Dept of Zoology is a 5 minute walk from the main bus station at Drummer Street. More information about buses.

By car: There is very little visitor parking on site. The nearest car park is the multi storey Grand Arcade car park, the entrance is on Corn Exchange Street. Cambridge City Centre is served by several Park and Ride sites, all of which have large car parks. More information about Park and Ride.

By air: The nearest airports to Cambridge are Stansted (30 miles) and Luton (40 miles). There's a direct train link to Cambridge from Stansted and Gatwick airports, and Heathrow airport is also easily accessible by train (via London King's Cross/London St Pancras). Buses regularly run from Stansted, Luton, Heathrow and Gatwick airports to Cambridge city centre.
