Many congratulations to Professor Ron Laskey , who has been awarded this year's Cancer Research UK Lifetime Achievement in Cancer Research Prize. He has also, in the past month, been awarded Honorary Doctorates by the Universities of Dundee and London.

Professor Jennifer Clack has been awarded a Honorary Doctor of Science Degree by the University of Leicester, which she will receive on 17th July 2014. In April, Professor Clack was also elected a foreign member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.
