After my PhD in 1985 I was first “Academic Assistant” and then a Heisenberg Fellow at the University of Goettingen, Germany. During this period I spent post-doc time in the labs of Heiner Roemer (Graz, Austria), Keir Pearson (Edmonton, Canada) and Malcolm Burrows (Cambridge). Since 1997 I am at the Department of Zoology.
