Visiting PhD Student

Room 3.01 David Attenborough Building

I graduated with a B.Sc. degree in Biology and a Master's in Ecology from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Brazil. I am currently a PhD candidate in Ecology & Biodiversity at Universidade Estadual Paulista, Brazil.

As an undergraduate, I studied seed dispersal patterns in a restored forest patch. Later I started trying to understand seed movement between forest patches and the role of matrix arboreal structures, such as isolated trees, for plant recruitment in degraded areas and landscape connectivity.

Research Interests

Seed dispersal by birds; landscape ecology; movement ecology; hierarchical models; individual based models; environmental policy
