Research Interests

My research interests include applied conservation via evidence-based practice and arthropod community ecology with a focus towards wild bees and other hymenoptera. I am interested in a detailed understanding and development of statistical methods that may help us to answer more wigged questions such a long term shifts in insect abundances and how it can be linked to drivers or proxies when only correlational data are available. On the experimental side, I am interested in soil nesting insects, mainly bees, but also the less well known and very abundant wasp parasites, such as ichneumonids and braconids.

I am very interested to share thoughts about the topics mentioned or any new ideas and collaboration. Just drop me an e-mail.
