I have a Bachelor's degree in Science with Honours from the University of Otago, New Zealand. I was a rotation student on the Wellcome Trust Developmental Mechanisms program in 2015-2016, and joined the Akam lab in 2016.

Research Interests

During my PhD, I will be investigating the roles that gap and Hox genes play during segmentation of the flour beetle, Tribolium castaneum
